Laura Lovett – Founder of From Afar
London-born and raised, Laura Lovett is a luxury journalist, editor, and stylist with over 20 years of experience in the worlds of fashion and high-end living. Throughout her career, she’s had access to the most indulgent products and experiences, yet it was the heartfelt gifts from loved ones that she cherished the most. Ironically, that same exposure to luxury made her “impossible” to buy for - gift cards became the norm.
Fast forward to life with five children under ten, juggling celebrations, and heartfelt gestures. Overwhelmed by choice yet determined to find truly special, meaningful gifts, Laura began curating her own care packages. But sourcing the perfect combination of thoughtful items was time-consuming and costly. That’s when From Afar was born - a one-stop destination for beautifully curated, thoughtful gifts, wrapped with meticulous attention to detail.
